Social Media The social media revolution has, over the last 5 years changed the way that we communicate with each other, at least on a personal level. In the more recent past the social media revolution has been impacting on businesses at a phenomenal pace. Most businesses understand that social media has its benefits – but most don’t understand the downfalls and blindly go ahead with the introduction of Facebook pages and Twitter accounts with little or no regard for the required strategy..
Interaction with your customers using social media, in particular Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn should be genuine, relevant and regular. Social media is about building meaningful, lasting relationships with those you wish to interact; it should NOT be used to solely advertise your services or website. Social media means ‘people no longer have to search for news, the news finds you’.
It is important to make a distinction between the different applications and how they can and should be applied in a business context. I can help you to decide which applications are best for you and define your social media strategy and set you some realistic goals. I can also provide you and your staff with bespoke training packages and the results will amaze you.
